Ustad ‘Abdu’-Karim was a Bahá’í mason who contributed to building the Shrine of the Bab.
‘Abdu’l-Bahá named one of the exterior doors to the Shrine of Bab after Ustad ‘Abdu’-Karim. Named Bab-i-Karim. The door on the eastern side leading to the antechamber of the Tomb of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá is named for Ustad ‘Abdu’l-Karim from Persia, who was also a mason and served in the construction of the Shrine.
